Anonymous: Um isn't there an actual AC game with a female protagonist but like no one bought it?

the one that was released exclusively for a handheld console that nobody owned and ubisoft barely promoted? and then when it was re-released for hd a year later once again they didn’t bother to tell anyone about it?? yeah it’s weird how no one bought that game

and also: so what? if a game with a male lead flops, devs aren’t going “ok clearly male protags aren’t working, time to write off playable male characters forever.” they look at the myriad of other things that go into making a successful game (story, gameplay, marketing, etc). immediately pointing at ac: liberation as ~proof that female protags can’t sell is just reinforcing this ridiculous double standard and i have no time for it

i would like iron bull to address the issue of women not being warriors under the qun with both male and female inquisitors, or through party banter

and i want him to tell a story about a person he was tracking down, how she outwitted him and out-fought him

and i want it to be implied it’s Isabela, but I don’t want us to know for sure, until the end of the story when he says

'And then she left me stranded there. She even took my pants. I don't know why. She didn't even wear pants.'
